Getting To The Venue

Once you are in Italy, depending on which airport you fly into, you can:

1. Rent a car and drive - car rental is very cheap in Italy, so a good option if you feel happy driving abroad. We normally use Kayak.co.uk to compare prices for car rental (There is plenty of parking on site at the venue).

2. Get the train from wherever you fly to into Perugia and then arrange a taxi or a lift from there.

3. Arrange a transfer/taxi direct from the airport.

Finding The Venue:

If driving there yourselves don't put the venue name directly into google maps as it can take you up an off road farm track to the back of the venue (as we found out in our Peugeot 206), instead put 'Cenerente' into google maps and this will take you to a small commune nearby. Once there, take a right just after the church where you will see a set of brown signs (1st picture below) which is signposted to Borgo Colognola. Follow the 'Str della Forcella' until you see a further brown sign to Borgo Colognola (2nd picture) and keep left and then left again (3rd picture) travelling up the hill. Follow this winding road and it will take you all the way up to the Borgo.

Please note there is limited signal at the venue (although there is wifi) so make sure you download offline maps or have the directions beforehand.

If getting a taxi from Perugia area to the venue there is a taxi company called Perugia Taxi (www.perugiataxi.it/en/) - you can book via whatsapp on +393762314678 or download their app or ask your accommodation to arrange bookings for you. There also is a small but limited Uber service.

Where to Stay?

We will be able to accommodate some of you on site at the venue from the Friday - Monday, but as much as we would love to have everyone, space is unfortunately limited. We will be contacting you around the time invites go out to let you know if we are able to offer you a place on site. This will breakdown the relevant costs and details. It may be that we can fit a few more in once we have the RSVPs back, if so we will be in touch.

For those who we can't accommodate or who would prefer to stay off site, there are a number of options a short drive/taxi ride away including many options in Perugia which is only 20 mins drive away. We would recommend looking on booking.com or Airbnb where there are plenty of options.

We have included some nearby alternative options our venue has suggested below:

Casale dei Dotti

12 minute drive from the venue

Villa Egle

7 minute drive from the venue

Casali del Toppello

17 min drive away - offers apartments
